Overflowing with historical artefacts, the museum is also home to Bathurst Archives, which has extensive family history records, which are available for a small search and printing fee.

Bathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) is one of the oldest regional galleries in NSW. It is a well equipped and professionally staffed facility owned and operated by Bathurst Regional Council. Home to one of the finest collection of Lloyd Rees artworks in regional NSW.
The only married home of the great Australian Prime Minister Ben Chifley and his wife Elizabeth. The house contains its original collection of household furnishings and personal effects dating back to when the Chifleys first occupied the house in 1914. The collection also contains unique ceremonial gifts presented to Ben Chifley both as Treasurer [1941-1949] and Prime Minister [1945-1949].

The Memorial Walk Museum is located in Bathurst RSL Club. On display are a number of large items including an anchor, machine guns, aircraft propeller, miniature cannon, a life size bronze statue of a Boer War Soldier and a 1956 Comemorative stone laid by a soldier named Fred Wright.
The Museum Walk is free to the public and filled with a wealth of history.
Administered by the National Trust, Miss Traill's House contains the collection of the Lee family. Built in 1845 the house, adjacent horse paddock, formal gardens and collection provide an accurate record of the life and times of a pioneer family.

Old Government Cottage is one of the oldest brick buildings in Australia, said to have been built in 1817. This historic house is part of the building that housed the commandant of the early township.
The Warrumbungle Environmental Education Centre is a Department of Education and Training facility located in central-west New SouthWales. The Centre delivers environmental education programs in the Warrumbungle National Park, at nearby sites, at nearby schools and promotes the teaching of environmental education in all schools by all teachers. Programs are offered for students from Kindergarten to Year12 and are flexible in their delivery, dependent on their needs and requirements. The Warrumbungle EEC provides all equipment necessary to make your excursions into the natural environment a safe and happy experience. The Warrumbungle Environmental Education Centre aims to foster in students a love of nature and an understanding of the needs of life on planet Earth.
